Presidential candidate Donald Trump released his first political ad to much fanfare yesterday as media outlets everywhere rushed to cover the 30 second soundbite.

The video was everything one could expect from a Trump commercial: overly simplified, hate-inspiring, xenophobic, and did we say hate-inspiring?

Just a few hours after the ad was released, it was discovered that those menacing Mexicans running at the presumed U.S. border was really a video clip of Morocco. A brown person is a brown person is a brown person to Trump, of course.

Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told NBC News, “No sh– it’s not the Mexican border, but that’s what our country is going to look like. This was 1,000 percent on purpose.”

Sure.
