Voters under the age of 30 helped secure the White House for President Barack Obama. This is a generation that is feeling the effects of this recession like no other. In addition, they’ve gone at least 8 years without a solid ally in Washington, D.C., so when they cast their votes for Obama, they were hoping that their tides would turn.
