at we have grown to expect the Republicans to ignore and change the science about issues like global climate change, we now have a White House who agrees to ignore the science that shows us that drilling 18,000 feet below the sea is inherently dangerous and can’t be done safely. But the White House is even giving the oil thugs an extra gift. He’s going to give them a break on the royalties they pay to drill – that’s a royalty along with the $40 billion dollars a year taxpayers give them in subsidies and tax loopholes and exemptions.
