This year has been a particularly difficult year for those American workers who are members of unions. We’ve seen unprecedented attacks on union workers coming from states like Wisconsin, New Jersey, and Florida, and things only appear to be getting worse. This week, the GOP successfully managed to partially shut down the FAA – the organization in charge of maintaining airport safety – because they were unhappy with airline employees’ unions.
