Jerad Miller has been identified as one of the two shooters responsible for killing two police officers and a civilian during a “revolution” this past weekend. He and his wife, Amanda Miller, entered a Cici’s Pizza restaurant and killed the two officers, both of whom were married with young children.
Jerad has a rap sheet that should have prevented him from owning a handgun, but that didn’t stop him from being able to acquire the weaponry necessary to pull off this act of violence.
At the scene of the crime, the Millers draped a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag over the bodies of the slain officers, a symbol that has become the preferred imagery of the Tea Party GOP.
