Republican Congressional candidate Cresent Hardy (NV) was shown to back Mitt Romney’s “47 percent” comments the former presidential candidate made in 2012. That year, a video leaked of the president making disparaging comments about the American electorate.

“There are 47 percent who are with him [Obama], who are dependant upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it,” said Romney.

When Hardy was asked about Romney’s “47 percent” comments, he responded “Can I say that without getting in trouble like Gov. Romney? The 47 percent is true. It’s bigger now.”
