Fox News host Tucker Carlson seems to think that white guys have had a bad rap in the United States. In fact, he thinks that there needs to be an “older white guy appreciate day.”
The problem, according to Dana Perino, is that the Republican party has become “too old, too white, too male” and it’s distancing them from youth voters.
“They’re not necessarily going to win all the youth vote,” said Perino. “But could they win enough to help some of our candidates, Republicans, win? I think that they could.”
“We need, I think, an older white guy appreciate day,” said Carlson. “I think they’ve done a lot for this country. And as one of them, I do. I do think that. Penicillin! That’s a contribution! I want to do that. Draft me. I’ll host it.”
