Well-known actor and medical marijuana activist Tommy Chong was a guest on Fox News’ Outnumbered yesterday, and told the hosts that Jonathan Gruber’s comments about the “stupidity” of the American voter had become the network’s new Benghazi.

Chong also brought up Mitt Romney’s infamous 47 percent comment, but the hosts demanded he “stay on topic.”

When asked why Gruber had said that the Obama administration relied on the stupidity of the American voter to pass the Affordable Care Act, Chong responded,

“I think you have to define what stupidity means. If you are opposing universal health care based on rumors and lies, then that is a stupid way to be.”
