Conservative tycoon and Wall Street powerplayer Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit against an airport over air traffic that flies over his mansion, reported CNN Money. This is the pinnacle of a rich guy temper tantrum.

According to CNN Money, Trump sued Palm Beach County for $100 million because his wealthy, conservative mind has created the paranoid delusion that the airport is sending air traffic over his mansion. Trump is specifically targeting the airport’s director Bruce Pelly, thinking Pelly is “seek[ing] revenge” over a decades old lawsuit.

“The county’s and Bruce Pelly’s efforts in this regard are both deliberate and malicious, and motivated by personal animosity towards Donald Trump,” reads the lawsuit. “Pelly is seeking revenge by attacking Mar-a-Lago from the air.”

Mar-a-Lago is the name of the club where the mansion is located. John Marion, Trump’s lawyer, insists that this an “injustice” because Trump is forced to fly his private jet over the club. What a tragedy.

According to the lawsuit, the mansion was built 1927, and the airport was built years later in the 1930s. Trump bought the home in 1985, long after jet technology was introduced to commercial flying. Being such a real estate mogul, Trump should have realized there was an airport nearby before buying the mansion.

The lawsuit also claims that the club is a historical landmark of sorts, saying it is “by far and away the most important historical structure in Palm Beach and one of the most important in Florida and, indeed, the United States.”

A playland for the mega-wealthy is hardly an important American landmark. It’s just a place for people who have too much money to go and be further isolated from the normal majority. This lawsuit is all ego.
