A 12-week-old baby was found abandoned on a staircase in an apartment copmlex in Obninsk, Russia. The baby boy was placed in a box where a stray cat the apartments’ residents sometimes fed used as a bed.
The woman who found the baby, who happened to be a nurse, said the cat had kept the boy warm and even tried to jump in the ambulance with him when he was taken to the hospital.
