The dashboard cam from a Bridgeton, New Jersey Police car shows an officer fatally shooting a black man who had his hands raised while exiting his vehicle as the officers had instructed him to do, Mother Jones reported.

Officers Braheme Days and Roger Worley had pulled over the car in which the victim, Jerame Reid, was a passenger for running a stop sign

While questioning Reid and his passenger, Leroy Tutt, Officer Days can be heard shouting, “We’ve got a gun in his glove compartment!”

Days yells at Reid, “Show me your fucking hands,” and then “He’s reaching for something!”

Reid tells the officers, “I’m not reaching for nothing. I ain’t got no reason to reach for nothing.” He then told them that he was going to get out of the car and get on the ground.

The video shows Officer Days continuing to yell at Reid, who exited the passenger side door — with no gun in his hand — and was immediately shot multiple times and killed.

An investigation into the shooting is currently being conducted.
