After President Obama delivered his State of the Union address this week, Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker criticized Obama’s lack of foreign policy experience prior to winning in 2008, reported The Wisconsin State Journal.
“The most important thing on foreign policy is leadership,” said Walker. “The knock on the president is not whether or not he had experience.”
Instead, Walker believes that Ronald Reagan, the GOP god of all things conservative, had the best showings of international strength when the former president fired “striking air traffic controllers because it showed allies and adversaries around the world that he was serious.” Leave it to a Republican to believe that firing American workers to send an international message is a brilliant idea.
“Ideas have to have consequences and I think this president has failed mainly because he’s made threats and hasn’t followed through on them,” said Walker.
