At a Senate hearing this Thursday on global security challenges, Senator John McCain accosted protesters by calling them “low-life scum” who accurately pointed out that Kissinger should be tried for war crimes.
The protesters, according to ABC News, “swarmed behind Kissinger as he arrived alongside two other former Secretaries of State, Madeleine Albright and George Shultz…” The protesters held up signs and chanted “arrest Henry Kissinger for war crimes.”
