Measles is scary, whooping cough is scary, sure – but according to Pat Robertson, the vaccinations may be just as terrifying, maybe more, for some parents.
Add to that a healthy fear of fluoride in the water and a person can calmly ignore any mountain of scientific evidence to the contrary.
