President Obama’s remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast have made their rounds at this point, either by decrying or applauding the comments. On Sunday, Tucker Carlson got in on the action and decided to add his two cents.

Carlson was, predictably, incensed by the president’s comments that before we get on our high horse regarding the problems of a foreign nation and a foreign people, we need to consider that Christianity has also been plagued by its share of extremism by way of the Crusades or the Inquisition.

Most notably though, Carlson performed the easy work of revealing his bias and his shortsightedness by claiming that slavery has been eradicated in the world and that ending it is largely thanks to Christianity.
