Over the weekend, conservatives, like Redstate.com editor Erick Erickson and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, engaged with a talking point that was pointless and unimportant, reported Talking Points Memo. They both wondered whether or not they believed President Obama was a Christian. We ask, “who really cares?”

Reporters outraged by suggestion Obama isn’t a Christian are the same ones who won’t ask Obama if he thinks Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

Walker said he didn’t know if Obama was a Christian. As you can see from Erickson’s tweets, he goes way past simple skepticism. However, at this point in Obama’s presidency, what difference does it make? He’s closing in on his last year. It’s doesn’t matter. But for the record, Obama is, in fact, a Christian.
