The Department of Justice has been investigating the actions and activities of the Ferguson police department following a Grand Jury’s decision to NOT indict officer Darren Wilson after he shot and killed Michael Brown, an unarmed African American. The Justice Department was looking to see if Wilson’s attitude was the default for the police force, and sure enough, their investigation validated the fears of the African American community.
