When I was a young lawyer, it used to amaze me when I saw the level of callous corruption that existed in product liability cases. Deliberate, conscious decision making by Madison Avenue types that want to sell a product they know will kill and cripple its users. It has been going on for decades.

Simply put, there are no limits on the ugly disregard for decency we see within this new culture of quick-profit product manufacturers willing to trade your life for their financial bottom line.

Just one of the hundred example we could talk about is transvaginal mesh. It’s used to treat multiple health conditions in women, but it’s most commonly used to treat pelvic organ prolapse. There are hugely serious complications and side effects that can result from transvaginal mesh surgery. The problem is, they’ve become so widespread that hundreds of millions of dollars worth of lawsuits have been filed against the companies that make these mesh products.

America’s Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, discusses this with attorney Robert Price.
