The junior Senator, infamous for his letter undermining Obama’s negotiations with Iran, feels that gays need to keep things in perspective and do a better job of managing their priorities in light of what is important.

After all, they hang people for being gay in Iran, shouldn’t they be happy that we aren’t doing that here?
