Earlier today, MSNBC’s Ed Schultz took a minute to discuss the situation in Baltimore and claims by police and city officials that “this isn’t our city.”
“It IS your city,” said Schultz. “These kids live in your city, and they did what they did because they’re pissed off about their situation, their lack of opportunity, their lack of resources, and things aren’t going good for them.”
“They took the death of Freddie Gray as an opportunity and a trigger to show the world what it’s like to be young and black in Baltimore.”
