Vermont’s Independent senator, Bernie Sanders, announced last week that his is officially running for president — as a Democrat.
Sander’s first official interview post-announcement was with MSNBC’s Ed Schultz.
The two began their discussion with the events in Baltimore and the nationwide call for police accountability before shifting to 2016 campaign issues.
Sanders said he would invest in infrastructure, develop a jobs program for America’s young people, work to fight climate change, eliminating Citizens United, and stopping the Trans-Pacific Trade Partnership.
