Woah. This guy is probably about to suffer an aneurysm. Pastor Stephen Anderson is passionate about how much he doesn’t like homosexuals. He’s also passionate about not getting cheap pizza at a wedding. And not letting gays come to a bakery. And he is really, really angry about Christians that are only pandering to fake anti-homosexuality.
Anderson has answers though. He thinks that he should open a bakery just so he can refuse service to gays. He thinks that there’s already an answer for homosexuality: AIDS.
“If you executed homos like God recommends, you wouldn’t have all this AIDS running rampant,” says Anderson.
It’s the same tired, backwards ideology that puts Christians at such odds with the rest of the world. While tolerance and understanding are winning across the country, these backwoods bastions entrench themselves against understanding.
