Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell went off in an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes about the Republicans voting to slash the Amtrak budget the day after an Amtrak train crashed in Philadelphia. The cut is a continuation of the GOP’s mission to slash infrastructure budgets.
“These SOBs, and that’s all I can call them, these SOBs didn’t even have the decency to table the vote,” said Rendell. “Their policy is terrible. This country used to have the world’s best infrastructure.”
Rendell also said that if a terror attack derailed the Amtrak train, then the GOP would rush to increase defense and Homeland Security funding. Watch the video below.
