When televangelist Pat Robertson is faced with a problem he doesn’t fully understand, his go-to move is to simply blame whatever it is on demonic possession.
On yesterday’s episode of The 700 Club, Robertson discussed eating disorders — which are very serious medical conditions. While he did admit that he supported “a whole rehab program” for those dealing with eating disorders, he also said the disorders could be caused by demons.
“This can be treated as a demonic possession thing,” Robertson said. “It’s like a demon and it needs to be rebuked and cast out.”
