Earlier this week, a Nassau County Supreme Court justice stripped Fox News psychopath Bill O’Reilly of all custodial rights of his children. Court transcripts obtained by Gawker revealed that O’Reilly’s daughter testified that he physically abused his ex-wife, Maureen McPhilmy.
Larry Cohen, a psychologist, interviewed each of the family members in 2014 and later testified to his findings in court. The following exchange is between Cohen and McPhilmy’s attorney, Casey Greenfield. “M” is O’Reilly’s teenaged daughter and “Mr. Anonymous” is O’Reilly. She was only 15 last year.
Q: In the course of your meetings with the children, did either of them describe any incidents of domestic violence between their parents?
A: Yes.
Q: And who was that?
A: M. reported—having seeing an incident where I believe she said her dad was choking her mom or had his hands around her neck and dragged her down some stairs.
Q: And?
1. CLAIR: Your Honor, to the extent that that incident as alleged may have predated the signing of the agreement.
Later in the transcript, M testified that O’Reilly said her mother was an adulterer. If that allegation is true, O’Reilly is an awful father who says inappropriate things to his children.
Q [Greenfield]: What sorts of things did M. tell you that Mr. Anonymous says about their mother?
A [Cohen]: That she is an adulterer, and that her husband is, M.’s new stepfather is not a good person, and oh, if she spends her time or more time at the mother’s home, it will ruin her life.
Other than reportedly being a violent, mind-controlling husband and father, O’Reilly has been accused of being an absent father who didn’t keep a relationship with his daughter for 11 years.
Q [O’Reilly attorney]: And M. reported to you that her father was never around to have a relationship with her for 11 years, correct?
A [Cohen]: That’s what she said.
Q: And the word, when I emphasize the word “never,” that was her word, was it not?
A: Yes, it was.
Gawker noted that there is no proof that McPhilmy cheated on O’Reilly during their marriage. But there is documented evidence of O’Reilly going to sex shows in Thailand and asking a Fox News producer to masturbate with a vibrator for him.
These are some shocking allegations considering that O’Reilly frames himself as the conservative preacher of right-wing family values. In the Crooks and Liars report of the transcripts, they included a video of O’Reilly pimping outdated 1950s family values.
