Ted Cruz is proud of the contempt and hatred he must feel toward LGBT individuals. At a recent speaking engagement, Cruz blasted other Republicans for “running for the hills” on LGBT issues while he supposedly stood fast in his bigoted beliefs.
“I’ll tell you what was saddest: just how many Republicans ran for the hills,” said Cruz at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference. “More than a few Republicans – sadly, even than a few Republicans running for president in 2016 – chose that moment to go rearrange their sock drawer. I’ll tell you this, I will never, ever shy from standing up and defending the religious liberty of every American.”
