Corporate Democrats are really scared of Bernie Sanders. Claire McCaskill tried to mount an attack on Bernie Sanders by calling him an extreme candidate and claiming that he would not be able to appeal to mainstream voters.
“I think the media is giving Bernie a pass right now,” said McCasking on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. “I very rarely read in any coverage of Bernie that he’s a socialist.”
Instead of supporting Bernie, McCaskill claimed that Hillary already has the nomination locked down.
“I think Bernie is too liberal to gather enough votes in this country to become President, and I think Hillary is gonna be a fantastic President,” said McCaskill.
