On Wednesday, a video was posted to YouTube reminding us that we have not overcome the plague of excessive police brutality that exists in this country. In the video, well over twenty officers can be seen accosting and piling onto one black man: hitting him, kicking him, shooting him with a taser, and shouting at him.
The victim’s name is Tyree Carroll and he is 22-years-old. In the video he can be heard crying out for his grandmother around the time than an officer stomps toward him shouting, “I have a fucking taser, here I come! You’re getting the fucking taser!”
