The 2014 midterm elections, along with the 2012 elections, helped Republicans gain a majority of statehouses all over the country. As a result, organizations like ALEC are working at the local level to enact their extremist corporate agenda.
Whether it is privatizing public education, destroying environmental regulations, or preventing increases in the minimum wage, ALEC has launched a full on assault on working class Americans. And to make matters worse, the corporate-controlled media has remained almost completely silent about this issue.
