Even before the presidential campaign season got underway, a fight was brewing within the Democratic Party. This fight was, and still is, over the future of the Party, and whether they should return to their progressive roots, or if the corporatist-wing of the Party should remain in charge. The Sanders vs. Clinton election has brought the fight to the surface, and progressives are now split over which side to take in the fight for the Party’s soul.
