In a round table discussion on Meet the Press, Pat Buchanan explained the appeal of Donald Trump to disenfranchised conservatives, a subject he knows a thing or two about. According to Buchanan, Trump appeals to a faction of the GOP that fears immigration and issues like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). It seems that many of these voters are terrified of progress and Trump speaks their language of fear.
