This should make your stomach turn. Phil Gramm, a Republican Senator from Texas who once chaired the Senate Committee on Banking and one of the key players responsible for crashing the economy, says that a former CEO of AT&T who got a $75 million severance package was exploited. Like, AT&T took advantage of him by only paying him $75 million in addition to what he earned during his time with the company. Gramm states that the $75 million paycheck represented the true definition of “worker exploitation.”

It’s absolutely disgusting.

Watch.
