TLC is never afraid to sink to a new low in their rabid pursuit of ratings. They recently announced that they will now make reality TV of the counseling session for the two Duggar girls who are publicly known to have suffered sexual abuse from their brother, Josh Duggar.
Revelations that Josh Duggar had committed multiple acts of sexual misconduct on minors throughout his lifetime led the network to cancel the family’s show, 19 Kids and Counting.
Despite the recent cancellation, TLC intends to air a one-hour special, called Breaking the Silence, on August 30th, and it will include footage from a counseling session with Jill and Jessa Duggar.
