Republican presidential candidate and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was heckled by labor union supporters during his speech at the Iowa State Fair. One of the pro-union protesters in the front row held up a sign that said “WARNING: Don’t let Scott Walker do to America what he did to Wisconsin.”

Walker attempted to fend off the hecklers with his typical bombastic style. “I am not intimidated by you, sir, or anyone else out there,” Walker said. “I will fight for the American people over and over and over and over again. . . . You want someone who’s tested, I’m right here.”

Sounds like tough words. The problem with his speech – Walker has been a complete and total failure as Wisconsin’s Governor; gutting education, being the subject of a criminal investigation, and providing significant political payoffs at the expense of those living in the state. Rather than being able to respond to the heckler with facts, he had to resort to what all bullies do: “Let’s fight.”
