In this segment of Real Time, host Bill Maher slammed Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for selling fashion accessories that cost $55,000, while refusing to pay their interns. The Olsen’s company is worth $1 billion, and they are getting sued by 40 interns whom the Olsen’s made work for free.
“I’m sorry, Olsens, but if you sell obscenely overpriced crap to status-obsessed suckers and stiff the children who help who, you’re not America’s little sweethearts anymore,” said Maher. “You’re Apple.”
