Officer Matthew Zagursky of the Philadelphia Police Department was reassigned to desk duty after a video surfaced showing Zagursky coercing two men into giving him money. The officer pulled over two men and said if they purchase tickets to a police fundraiser, he won’t take the car, which was unregistered.
“You and your friend got any money to buy these ‘Thrill Show’ tickets?” Zagursky asks. “Either you buy these or I take your car. ‘Cause it’s unregistered.”
In a second video, Zagurksy is shown outright harassing the driver about his wipers, which support breast cancer awareness.
