MSNBC’s Comcast-driven move to the far right continues. Now Joe Scarborough is saying that it’s time for NYC to get rid of “misguided” liberal policies and the homeless.
“Let’s not be politically correct here,” said Scarborough on Morning Joe. “Let’s talk about what’s best for the people exposed, sleeping on grates because some left-winger thinks this is more humane, to let them sleep in Central Park where they can get beaten up.”
Scarborough denied a point made by Mayor Bill de Blasio about increased homeless being a result of a suffering economy.
“That’s a lie,” said Scarborough. “Unemployment is down … this is because Bill de Blasio, is what, trying to be more humane? Does somebody believe exposing people outside and being outside in a dangerous situation is more humane?”
