Jeb Bush has lost three of his major fundraisers this past week, reportedly as a result of doubt over the viability of Jeb’s candidacy.
Politico reports:
There are three different versions of what transpired. The Florida-based fundraising consultants — Kris Money, Trey McCarley, and Debbie Aleksander — have said that they voluntarily quit the campaign and were still working with Bush’s super PAC, Right to Rise Super PAC. Others said the three, who worked under the same contract, were let go because they were no longer neeed for the current phase of the campaign.
It’s a sure sign that Jeb Bush’s campaign is on the ropes thanks to Donald Trump. Trump is beating the hell out of Jeb and Jeb simply isn’t rising to the challenge of fighting back.
Reports have indicated that the campaign has been in trouble financially, going to far as to have to cut the salaries of some campaign staffers and slow down efforts to throttle down spending.
Trump took note of Jeb’s fundraisers leaving, taking to Twitter to say, “Wow, Jeb Bush just lost three of his top fundraisers – they quit!”
