Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is really livid about Kim Davis being in jail, which just adds to his opposition to same-sex marriage. Speaking to host George Stephanopoulos on ABC, Huckabee expressed that, if he was the president during this time, he would either resign or be put in jail.
“I can’t see any circumstance in which I would be required to violate my conscience and — and the law,” Huckabee said. “And if so, I think maybe there is a point at which you say either I’ll resign or put me in jail.”
He doesn’t have to be president to go to jail over same-sex marriage. It sounds like he’d be right at home in a cell next to Kim Davis.
