Bryan Pagliano, a former Hillary Clinton staffer who installed and maintained Hillary’s private email server, invoked his Fifth Amendment right on Thursday during his appearance before the House Select Committee investigating Benghazi.
Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-South Carolina, says that Pagliano’s testimony is necessary to provide potential clarity on questions regarding who had access to Hillary’s Libya-related emails. Some Republicans are contemplating offering Paliano immunity to compel his testimony, including Sens. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Ron Johnson, R-Wisconsin. Pagliano’s attorneys have said he would testify if immunity were given.
