GOP Christian Fundamentalists worst fears have been surpassed. They never could imagine that a Sheriff Deputy and former Marine could be gay, and want to marry one another. When the U.S. Supreme Court approved same-sex marriage, they thought it would only be dance instructors, hairdressers, clothing designers, entertainers and musicians who could violate their belief that God bans homosexuality. Now that same-sex marriage in Florida is legal, they are faced with the reality that even law enforcement officers and Marines are gay.
Detective David Currie and Aaron Woodard (a former Marine) married shortly after midnight on Tuesday, when the state legalized same-sex marriage. Because of the below image taken by the AP, one thing that clearly will come out of this is that the GOP will enact laws preventing photos from being taken at marriage ceremonies. Christian Fundamentalist heads are spontaneously exploding all over America.
