Stephen Colbert was on point with his take-down of the entire Republican field. No candidate was safe following the CNN debate earlier this week. Colbert leaned in and took his shots at them all.
The most wonderful part of Colbert’s segment, however, is his attack on Donald Trump, while using Trump’s own tactic of name calling. Referencing Trump’s attack on Rand Paul’s appearance during the debate, Colbert gave it to Trump:
“That’s a good dig, by a man who looks like a microwave circus peanut.”
“Like a honey-glazed tiger testicle.”
“Like a catheter bag full of candy corn,” Colbert said.
