Republican presidential candidate and boring human Ben Carson does not think a Muslim should be President of the United States of America.

During an interview with Chuck Todd, Carson tiredly said that he wouldn’t trust having a Muslim person in the White House. “I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that,” he said in an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press.

Carson bases that belief on his thought that Islam is “not consistent with America.” He said, however, that he wouldn’t have a problem with having a Muslim in Congress. Carson is an odd duck.
