Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis appeared on The Kelly File and defended her decision for not resigning from her job, a job she doesn’t even do. “If I resign I lose my voice,” said Davis. “Why should I have to quit a job that I love and that I’m good at? I’ve been a county employee and served the public well for over 26 years before I got elected. It comes back to, they can accommodate for all sorts of issues, and we ask for one simple accommodation and we cannot receive it.”
Davis wants an accommodation for her bigotry. She also has the audacity to ask why she should quit a job that she’s “good at.” She doesn’t even do her job. This is not about her beliefs. This is about her being a puppet in the GOP political campaigns, and also her seeing a lot of potential money to be made appearing at religious zealot conferences.
