While trying to defend the Benghazi committee investigation into Hillary Clinton, Republican Representative, Cathy McMorris Rodgers was violently booed. It happened at the Washington Ideas Forum this Thursday.
The Huffington Post reports that Rodgers was booed, yelled and hissed at. People shouted “You’re lying!” as Rodgers attempted to dispel the notion that the committee was not politically inspired.
“I do believe that the work that we’re doing in the Benghazi committee is very important,” said Rodgers.
“We’ve not yet had important questions answered,” she said.
