Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin refused to name the Oregon shooter, which is good on him. However, in 2013, after the Sandy Hook shooting, he posted a video on his Facebook that “raised questions” about the massacre.

The video was called “The Sandy Hook Shooting – Fully Exposed” and described conspiracy theories about the tragedy in Sandy Hook. On the post, Hanlin wrote a caption saying “This makes me wonder who we can trust anymore . . . Watch, listen, and keep an open mind.”

Is Hanlin a Sandy Hook truther, and does he think it was a government false flag operation? Many Sandy Hook truthers believe that the shooting was a false flag operation conducted to push the pro-gun control agenda. Shortly after the Sandy Hook shooting, Hanlin also sent a letter to Vice President Joe Biden.

An excerpt of the letter reads:

Gun control is NOT the answer to preventing heinous crimes like school shootings. Any actions against, or in disregard for our U.S. Constitution and 2nd Amendment rights by the current administration would be irresponsible and an indisputable insult to the American people.

On Friday afternoon, the post was finally deleted from Hanlin’s Facebook, and his profile was set to private.
