Yesterday, Donald Trump made clear that he believes the answer to minimize deaths and injuries in mass shootings is to make sure that all employees and guests are armed. This way they can shoot the bad guys who have mental issues.
“The Second Amendment of our Constitution is clear,” Trump said. “Every time something happens, they don’t blame mental illness — that our mental healthcare is out of whack and all of the other problems. And by the way, it was a gun-free zone. I will tell you — if you had a couple of the teachers or somebody with guns in that room, you would have been a hell of a lot better off.”
The only logical conclusion from this statement is that Trump should now openly announce that in order to protect his customers and guests he will make sure that his casino, hotel, restaurant and beauty pageant employees are fully armed at all times. Additionally, he should have signs placed on his properties informing guests that they are encouraged to bring their guns, just as his employees are armed. He also should begin a huge marketing campaign emphasizing that he will be arming his employees and guests at his various properties and businesses.
What do you think Trump will say if he is openly questioned about this? If he is asked during the next debate whether in fact he will arm his casino and business employees and will encourage his guests to bring guns into his casinos, hotels, resorts, and beauty pageants, how does he plan on responding?
Hopefully, Corporate Media and the moderators of the next GOP Debate will take Trump to task on the absurdity of what he is saying? The difference between other candidates making these gun-nut crazy statements, and Trump making them, is that Trump actually owns numerous private businesses where he now should be pressured into arming his employees and guests, as he suggests schools and other private businesses do? What do you think would happen to Trump’s businesses then?
