During last night’s first Democratic debate, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton agreed on the fact that the public has heard enough about Hillary Clinton’s emails.
“I think the secretary is right,” said Sanders. “The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails!”
“Me too!” said Hillary Clinton, laughing.
“We have massive wealth and income inequality,” Sanders said. “The American people want to know whether we’re going to have democracy or an oligarchy as a result of [Citizens United]. Enough of the emails — let’s talk abut the real issues.”
“I’ve taken responsibility for it, what I did was allowed by the State Department, but it wasn’t the best choice,” Clinton said.
