Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton dominated the debate on Tuesday night. But that didn’t come without each candidates’ respective stumbling points. For Sanders this happened to be gun control, which is a hot button issue for the left. Clinton was able to take a swipe at Sanders on the issue.

When asked if Sanders was tough enough on guns, Clinton said “No, not at all.”

“I think that we have to look at the fact that we lose 90 people a day from gun violence,” Clinton said. “This has gone on too long, and it’s time the entire country stood up against the NRA. The majority of our country supports background checks, and even the majority of gun owners do.”
