Corey Dickerson knew he was about to have an interaction with police when he was out jogging. As a black man, Dickerson has seen his fair share of police brutality in his life. This night, he handled the officers and recorded his actions.

“You look like you been running,” says an officer to Dickerson. “Where you been running from.”

Dickerson answers that he has just been running around and is not going to any particular place.

The officer stops his car and Dickerson comments that he is about to be harassed. Dickerson then informs the officer that he intends to stay in the view of the officers dashboard camera and that he is recording their interaction with his cell phone.

“Look, my camera does the same thing, and you can tell them why I stopped you,” says the officer. “It is 12:30 in the morning, I’ve had a lot of burglaries and thefts. You can get this on camera, so now I’m just asking for your ID.”
